About VMRC
Our Mission
The Verona Republican Committee is made up of a group of both elected and unelected public officials who are principled, conservatives who embrace our core values of honoring the U.S. Constitution and the rule of law.
VMRC’s goal is to increase the Republican voter base in the Township of Verona by developing voter registration and outreach programs to community members who share our core values and beliefs. We will do this by providing opportunities to educate the electorate through political events, and other forums.
VMRC will participate in (NJ) GOP activities in the recruitment and election of well qualified, loyal, constitutional, conservative, principled Republicans. We will accomplish this through education, communication, outreach and motivation of the community.
Our Core Values
- Freedom. The strength of the nation lies within the individuals who live in the country, and therefore feel that the individual’s freedom, dignity, and responsibility must come first and foremost in our government.
- Liberty. The state of being free within society from restrictions imposed by authority on one’s way of life, behavior, or political views.
- Equal opportunity and responsibility for all. Free enterprise and encouraging individual initiative are what has brought the country economic prosperity in the past, and what will continue to bring it prosperity today.
- Limited Taxation and government. The best government for the people is one that is closest to the people, and therefore the government should not interfere unless they are needed.
- Fiscal responsibility is the government’s job and it must hold itself accountable to the same financial standard of the people they govern and do so in such a way that its people can keep all they have worked so hard for.
- Sovereignty. America should work to protect national freedom first, while working to spread peace, freedom, and human rights in the world.
- Transparency in Government – refers to the duty governments have to be clear, accountable, and truthful with citizens about how they are conducting elections, spending their tax dollars, the laws and potential penalties for breaking them, and their operations as a whole.
VMRC is Tax Exempt
VMRC is a tax exempt organization under the section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or corresponding section of any future federal tax code.
The purpose of the VMRC is to increase the voter base in the Township of Verona by developing voter registration and outreach programs to community members as well as to increase the participation in the electoral process. We will do this by providing opportunities to educate the electorate through events and other forums. Our goal is to increase patriotism in our community through scholarship programs at Verona High School Senior applicants.
